Pico de la Nieve

2 hours drive and 1 hour walk for 1 hour biking... but it's worth it. Not only the trails are some of the best i have ever seen, also the scenery and the fiew from Pico de la Nieve (the second highest mountain on La Plama... and only a few meter lower as the highest) is some of the best this tiny little island can offer.
Only on the top you might find some hikers (mostly germans) but on the real trails through the djungle you will never find anybody.
And this is good so because nobody would ever be able to stop his bike in time riding in the dark woods of the northern part of the island. Unfortunately I hurt my ancle and the rest of the day (and the week) was a little painfull for me and I wa forced to bike with the handbrake on.
At the end of the day we went down a dry river bed... unforgetable. In this location I noticed that it is the best to let simply go the bike... if you slow down you recognize how high the gaps are and how many opportunities the are to fall down heavyly.
