Raier Moos

A biketour with 3 nurses means that we were on the safe side and not a lot could happen. The very nice but windy day brought us to Salern, Varner Lake, Neustift and Raier Moss in Raas (lunch). After that we went down the Rienzschlucht to admire the lots of water coming out this impressing gorge. After that we went on the Karlspromenade and than back to Brixen.

Obere Franzensfeste

Since we only had a few hours I chose to go first up to Salern (new built trail) and than to the upper Franzensfeste. From ther we crossed the whole valley to get to Natz and Elvas just before going down to the new "Andreas Hofer" bridge. 30 km and 1.000 hm in 2 hours ist not bad.

Verdingser Runde

The hottes day so far this year (29°) brought us first to Klausen and after a quick coffee up the Tinnetal to Latzfons and Verdings. From there down to Feldthurns, up to Schnauders and down again to the Wöhrmaurer where we had lunch. After that some of us still had not enough so I had to bring them up above Tils to the trail nr. 20 where some climbing action is requested. After that some seemed to be "cooked" and we headed home where some fresch "Pustertaler Freiheit" was already waiting for us.

Spilucker Platte

After 2 hard days the plan was, to take it easier. So we went into the Schalderer Vally and trom there we changed to the Spilucker Side where we had lunch. After the step downhill we still had enough power to go to Vahrner See and over to Natz. 38 km and 1.360 hm.

Plose

To make the almost 2.000 highmeters until the Schatzerhütte we chose the new "Rodelbahn" from St. Andrä to Kreuztal. It was steep, long and hard but the nice panorama on the top payed us off for everything.

Rodenegger Alm

What a nice day... suny, funny and not too much breathtaking. Starting from Brixen at 10 after 4 hours we reached the Rodenegger Alm wher we had a perfect lunch at the Ronerhütte of Marion and Alex. The trail down to Mühlbach was a little difficult but eccept some broken chains we didn' t have any problems. 50 km and 1700 hm wehre just right for a really fit group.

Tinnetal

The strong wind blew us first to Klausen and than up the Tinne-valley to Latzfons, Schnauders and Gereuth. After lunch at the Plonerhof we only had 1.000 hm downhill on singletrails left... yeaaaah... all in all 1.300 hm and 50 km.
