Sanktonders and Olbis

This weeks best day (talking about the weather) took us up to St. Andrä and from there down the "Schotterloch" to Albeins where we enjoyed"Penne all'arrabiata" at the Kircherhof. After that we went up to Schabs and after a beer at Toni we took the marvellous "Seeburg-Trail" down to Brixen. 42 km and 1.300 hm.

Keschtnweg

Over Albeins to Klausen, where we admired "Muchs Karre". From there into the Tinnetal and than from Latzfons down to Verdings and Feldthurns to the Wöhrmaurer for Lunch. After that we headed towards Tils on the well known Keschtnweg, just befor surfing my favorite trail down to Brixen.

Freeridetour down from Perlunger

This years first freeridetour startet at the Perlunger Hof (1.400). The trail 8a and 20 are just perfect to get the right feeling... just before the hard part (pic. 2) starts. At the end a good glas of wine at the cloister of Neustift pays off for all.

Andreas Hofer Bridge

As if it had not been enough... at the end of the tour we wanted to try the new built Andreas Hofer Bridge which connects the Natzner-Berg with the Plose-Berg... but the trail down and specially the way up were a little difficult ;-))

Climbing

sometimes i bring my girls for a climbing session... the upper Franzensfeste is the perfect place. I noticed grey hairs in my beard - it's time to cut it off.

Eisacktaler Bike Opening 2010

The 3rd Bike Opening 2010 is history. After a short technic training and biketour we could enjoy Weizenbeer, Weißwurst, Pasta and by the way admire the news on the bike sector: bergmönch, segway, electobikes and more.

Champions showdown

Some worldchampions (Schurter, Lechner, Kerschbaumer, and Frischknecht, Pezzo,...) at todays Sunshin Race in Nals made a great show. Although the heavy and rough surface (up- and downhill) not a single race used a full suspension bike...

Brixen East and West

First we went up on the east side of our town and from there down to Albeins. After lunch we decided that we did not have enough yet so we went up also on the west side to Pinzagen and from ther down on my "sectret" trail to Brixen.

Rundl Brücke

Todays uphills were only 200 mt each... but if you do this 7 times, so at the end of the day everybody is "cooked". The weather was perfect and the group homogen ... all in all a perfect day.

Espresso Tour

We did not have the whole day so we made my "Espresso Tour" (short and strong, just like the tipical italian coffe) = 20 km on rough trails in less than 90 minutes... i love that!
