Scheibenberg

Meine erste Skitour dieses Jahr führte mich auf den Scheibenberg (1.940 mt). Von dort oben hat man einen traumhaften Ausblick auf Brixen (Bild 2) und auf die Plose (Bild 4) wo man genau die Talabfahrt "Trametsch" und auch die neue Rodelbahn (12 km!) erkennen kann.

Baranco de Fataga

My plane leaves at 17.20... time enough for a last biketour by my own. From Maspalomas up to Ayagaures (pic. 1) and than continue to Eagles Pass and the charming town of Fataga (pic. 2). There I bought some presents for my 4 girls, took a little rest in front of the town church (pic. 3) and headed towards the Montagan Rotunda from where you could see already Play del Ingles. 60 km and 1.300 hm where just perfect to close that fantastic week in Gran Canaria.

From Pico dellas Nieves to Teror

From the highest point of the Island (Pico dellas Nieves 1.949 mt) we could see the 3.700 mt of the Teide in Tenerife (pic. 2)... may be my next trip. On the way down I finally found the first girl which was willing to talk to me (pic 3)... but only because I bought a lot of here homemade staff like "fraises" and "roasted peanats". The beautyful trails of the northern island make hungry (pic. 4) and in the middle of a pine wood we make a welcome rest...even if on the island we would find some really nice places for lunch (pic. 1).

Montana de Taura

not the longest but defenitely the hardest and most beautyful tour of the week. Just a few km on asphalted road had to be caught in a foto (pic. 1) because the rest of the day will be much more technical. Our guide Kai (pic. 4) took us to lost places and just before some of us colapsed a difficult but still rideable and never ending downhill startet and finished in Puerto de Mogan... not at 16.00 as planed but so we could admire at 19.00 the sun going down by having a beer (pic. 3).

Embalse de Chira

our first "real" tour took us to the Chira Valley and showed us imedately that it is going to be a fantastic week with lots of trails, nice people and breathsteeling up- and downhills. The rough trails cause also a lot of flat tires, bloddy knees and hurting backs and bottoms...but we love it.

Presa de Ayagaures - Eagles Pass

A classic tour in Gran Canaria... 48 km and 800 hm were just right to get used to the heat and the trails of that island. Beautyfull landscape which this year, due to some rainfall in December, is even a little more green as usually.

Dunas de Maspalomas

the first day we wanted to start easy and take a close look at the city we will spend the next week... so we hired 2 citybikes and pushed them for hours through the dunas... that was hard!
